BRAIN

To conceptualize what the mind is perceiving
To capture itself into a understandable state
All I have sacrificed just to comprehend
Losing in each step of realization
Some of what we would call truly freedom
But just for some portion
Of this dense thing we call time
All alone into this body of mine
A perfect symbol for all the universe
Trying to understand itself
Like we were trapped into some cage
Like we were a five hole box into the sea
What will I give back to me
What I've called for all these ages
As we walk the path of life
Learning will always take your slice
But from knowing yourself
You could eat the whole cake
